In nearly all DWI and criminal cases, the firm charges a flat fee that is agreed upon in writing at the beginning of the case. When your liberties are at stake, hiring a lawyer should not be cost prohibitive.
Jay Carey adheres to a philosophy of providing effective representation at reasonable rates. He understands that legal fees are one of several significant costs facing clients and most people cannot afford exorbitant legal fees. Accordingly, he strives to deliver effective, detailed advocacy in a cost-effective manner.
For cases occurring within the greater Twin Cities area, the firm's flat-fees generally range from $700 to $2,500 for misdemeanor offenses, $1,500 to $3,500 for gross misdemeanor offenses, and $3,500 or more for felony offenses. Please contact Jay Carey for a free consultation and specific quote regarding legal fees in your case.
Generally, the entire flat fee is paid upon commencement of representation. If a client is unable to pay the entire flat fee at the outset, the firm may agree to a payment plan, depending on the client's financial circumstances and ability to make payments.
Acceptable forms of payment include check, money order, cash and credit card.
